Do you struggle with social media? How can therapists use these platforms effectively and easily to gain maximum exposure and a regular client base? How do you stay in touch with potential clients? These were questions I was asking myself. 

We learn our profession  but how can we effectively market ourselves? I wanted a structure. A plan. A list of things to do so I knew I'd done what needed to be done so I could then get on with the business of seeing my clients and teaching students and I wanted it in plain English. I contacted Claire Jopson from Spoil Me Social. Claire is not only a marketing guru but has successfully built her own brand alongside her twin sister 'twins that travel' with effective use of the tools you will learn on this course and now has followers running into 100,000's across varying social media platforms.

This course is aimed mainly at the single operator. The Hypnotherapist, the Masseur, the Beautician, the sold trader (you get the picture)!

Workshop Itinerary

Day one

Session One: Who are your target audience?
In this initial session, we’ll talk through your ideal customer to create varied personas that you can use and apply when taking your marketing strategy forward. I.e. who is your ideal customer?

Session Two: Website – do I need one?
This session will talk through the options available to you when launching your own website. This ranges from custom made websites through to free templates that can help to get you started.

Session Three: Social media platforms
This session talks through the different social media platforms available to you in marketing your business. In this session, we’ll use your marketing personas to discover what platform would work best for finding your ideal customer. This session will also include aspects of social media worth utilising, including Instagram and Facebook live.

Day two

Session four: Blogging for your business
Blogging for your business is one of the most effective and free marketing tools you can use. Helping with SEO (getting your website seen!), blogging is the perfect tool to help grow your business online.

Session five: Social media advertising + scheduling
In this session, we’ll review the social media advertising options available to you and the ones best used for your business. We’ll also look at scheduling tools to help you keep up-to-date with your social media posting.

Session six: Newsletters
Newsletters are one of the most underrated forms of direct advertising. In this session, we’ll be looking at free tools to help set up your own email campaigns and ways in which to capture readers.

You will need to bring a long your laptop/tablet to participate fully, please bring a charger along also;). All literature will be provided. Tea, coffee, water/biscuits/fruit will be provided for breaks.

Course date: Weekend 23/24th June 2018. 10-am - 4pm each day.
